Great experience considering I was hesitant to get my transmission rebuilt. David at the Lewisville shop and Rick at the McKinney shop both handled my situation and phone calls with the utmost respect and understanding in regards to the knowledge, time and money I had already invested in my vehicle. I was hesitant to send my truck into the shop since I was pretty sure I needed a whole new transmission. I first towed it to David at Lewisville's The Transmission Shop. David was upfront about the towing fees and how much work needed to be put into finding my problem. Great Customer Service! My brother needed his transmission light checked and they inspected his vehicle at no cost, when at a dealer he was charged $139. Rick is a very helpful and honest person and will let you know what your vehicle REALLY needs. We were told the vehicle would be done a certain day and the car was finished that exact day! It was a no hassle experience. We were given detailed and full details on the needed repairs and recommended maintenance details when we picked up our vehicle. Very courteous customer service.
Thought the transmission was going out on our 07 Expidition that has over 130,000 miles. They said it wasn't and recommended some other things that might help our problem. The work took a little longer than promised but our car seems to be running just great. Very pleased with our experience over all.
