I've run into a couple of issues, but the staff have been very responsive and supportive. I would definitely recommend The Woodmark at Sun City to other families based on the experience so far.

It smells clean, not bottle of bleach and the residents looks like didn't have the 1000yd stare on faces. Response to the call buttons may be a bit slow.

Transition good and bad, didn’t always get the same information or none at all. Unit nice , food and menu better than previous facility. Eating hours less than desirable for those that like to sleep in… adjustment for individual schedule. Overall more positive than negative. Would recommend facility… I have pretty high expectations.

Everyone was very nice to my mother and my siblings as well. Maintenance issues were not completely addressed before in and lingered after. The guys need to ha e more autonomy to get things done as a suggestion. It seemed like there was a staffing issue as well. That probably attributed to the delay. Moving our mother was NOT due to anyone or issues with your facility. She has more family that stepped up to be there for her and wanted her to move out of state. Thank you for everything. The money was well spent!

Woodmark as a whole, I would recommend they just need more staff just like all assisted living to be able to care for the residents in a better quality manner

Great tour, answered all questions. Gave us opportunities to try the dining, chat with other residents. Loved the flexibility to stay in same room as long as possible. Felt brighter than other facilities visited.

My experience with Woodmark at Sun City has been excellent. They truly care about and for their residents. The staff is excellent and easy to work with. They have been extremely supportive and and communicative to my mom about my dad every day she visits. Overall they are amazing and recommend them to everyone who has asked for advice on how to start with elder care.It is very clean and the staff doesn't allow the residents to sit in their own waste too long.
