A couple quick notes about the form you wanted me to fill out on the Woodmark. The staff situation is right now pretty stable with the management team in the various department heads however housekeeping workers cleaners the caretakers and the medical technician seem to be a bit understaffed many times her will have only one person to do the caretaking duties or I've seen it even with one person for the medical technicians. First of all it's a very tough occupation taking care of the elderly with memory issues but I feel like the staff do a good job. I understand how difficult it is and give them much credit although it is difficult to see some of the residents in their wheelchairs all leaning over and asleep. Our experience was that my mother in law was quite elderly and legally blind so could not participate in the activities but many did which was nice to see. The Sales Director, [name removed] did a great job of answering our questions, showing us several floor plans, and giving us updates on changes and improvements the facility has added or plans to add. We appreciated the data regarding resident to staff and resident to RN ratios. We appreciated the time she took, and the clear assisted living rates.

This was the first tour we did of assisted living facilities. It was a Saturday so it was relatively quiet. It was clean and festive for the holidays where some residents decorated their doors. The residents appeared happy and the staff was greeting them as we went by. The price is in range and we’ll see how it ranks after visiting a few other facilities

We did not make an appointment, [removed name] very happy to take on tour and explained the basics the first time and answered all our question. The second time I had the family I was looking and doing all the tours for as The MR. could not get away to look. He has to give his wife 24/7 care. after me touring a lot of places Woodmark was my end choice. I would like to stay there if anything happens to myself. I've run into a couple of issues, but the staff have been very responsive and supportive. I would definitely recommend The Woodmark at Sun City to other families based on the experience so far.

It smells clean, not bottle of bleach and the residents looks like didn't have the 1000yd stare on faces. Response to the call buttons may be a bit slow.

Transition good and bad, didn’t always get the same information or none at all. Unit nice , food and menu better than previous facility. Eating hours less than desirable for those that like to sleep in… adjustment for individual schedule. Overall more positive than negative. Would recommend facility… I have pretty high expectations.
