ROACHES There is something wrong with theses 4-5 star reviews. I live in of the apartments and the whole building is infested with roaches. Living here is disgusting. It's been like this for months now, and no one is doing anything about it.
Verified Renter the apartments are comfortable and beautiful but at what price. deteriorated common areas bad odors from carpets continuous theft of packages from amazon.

Roaches galore Management is responsive which is great because the property is disgusting. I only lived here for a few months due to an incessant roach problem, for which an exterminator came weekly (6 separate times I think), and the problem still persisted. Roaches were coming from the kitchen and under the doorway the moment the weather got warm. Don't do it. The following email was sent to Joseph at Chicago Rentals over ten days ago and there has yet to be a response: We have a few issues at the Times Square Apartments. Things have been getting increasingly worse in the last six months. First, my wife's bike has been stolen from the 'secure' bike room. "Meh", Sums it up nicely. This was my first solo place after living with friends in the Southport Corridor for years. I lived there for 2yrs and the novelty of solo living wore off quickly. This place has high rent for the amount of space. My 1BR was tiny and the rent kept creeping towards $1,000...on a "special loyalty" rate. There's better stuff out there I have to say the worst thing about this place is the people they have working there. There is ZERO communication between the management staff and the renters unless you count the countless notes they put up every other day. Water issues are HUGE! I've seen one big leak and one huge flood. The roof top deck they are still advertising hasn't been open in years! Unclean The interior of the property is filthy how would anyone want to live in such uncleanliness this was a horrible experience i would;nt recommend Time Square apts to anyone
