Works well; predicted page output is accurate We have used both the high and low yield genuine Brother cartridges in a MFC 8510DN printer. For our usage, the TN-750 high yield works best. We just received our low toner (not out) message at about 6500 pages printed on the high yield cartridge. We often print large fonts and images, so I believe the 8000 "average print" predicted page output is very close.
Prints streaks Printer started printing streaks after I replaced the original toner cartridge with this cartridge. This is only the 2nd cartridge in the life of this printer - it's basically a brand new printer. I thought that by buying the original brand cartridge I would avoid this kind of problem. $80 down the drain.
Beware: defective toner unit from 4GoodInk damaged 2 drum units (no refund provided) I purchased a Brother laserjet in August 2013 and ordered a high-yield toner cartridge from 4GoodInk through Amazon.com a month later. Shortly after starting to use it, black vertical stripes started to appear on each printed page. I called Brother: they established that the drum unit was damaged, so I purchased a new one. DOES NOT WORK WITH MY LASER PRINTER How aggravating that the printer I purchased said it worked with this cartridge. And unfortunately I didn't need this replacement till after the 90 days went by and I was unable to return it. I'm stuck with it. anyone need one?
Be careful they are passing re-manufactured off as new Although the cartridge appeared to be genuine, the packaging was bulk packaging or generic packaging. This cartridge was possibly a badly re-manufactured cartridge. I did not get more than 1000 prints before printer showed out of toner message. Prints were badly smudged looking very sloppy. Worked as poorly as the generic cartridge I bought at the same time.
Long lasting Good prints and it lasting a long time. No one wanted to change the cartridge, and I don't want to waste the unit, when all we need is more toner.
Black Lines Not happy. Getting vertical black lines on both sides of the paper. Original cartridge from manufacture lasted well over 6 months. This one has not made it much over 3 months. This was supposed to be "High Yield".
TN750 High Yield Toner Cartridge The yield on this toner is said to be 8,000 copies. This is not true for me. I have had a Brother HL5470 printer for almost one year and have used the TN750 and TN720 cartridges with consistently lower yields than advertised. Granted, I print loan documents which require a lot of ink so I assumed there would be a lower yield. But, I'm disappointed that the average yield, for my jobs, is 5,000, not 8,000. However, the print is always clear.
Disappointed We have nearly 12 brother printers in our office and always purchased OEM toners, however last 4 toners we purchased did not last promised life. We are a medical office and our normal printing is patient records from EMR or patient forms and this TN750 toner just gave us around 3000 pages compared to promised 8000 pages. Very disappointed with brother on toners, since it happened on two other printers.
