We have know Dr. Marzke since she was a young girl. She has always been a wonderful, caring, loving person and those attributes are not missed by the patients she nurtures at her clinic. My pups love her and the care she gives to them and we enjoy watching her in her "grown up" role of veterinarian. It's just kinda hard to remember to call her "Dr."....but she deserves that title.
This place is BRILLIANT! The ladies behind the desk are wonderful, and always remember our dog. And Dr Berthiaume is so great. We are bringing our dog back to Ireland with us, and he has been wonderful helping us out with all the paper work and different things she needs to come back with us. It made the whole process a lot less stressful actually. I would recommend this place a thousand times. It's fantastic
Looking for a great vet for your pet family? Look no further. Topaz Vet Clinic in Tempe, AZ. Dr. Berthiaume (Dr. B) has been my primary vet for over 7 years. I can't say enough about him. He is THE BEST and I feel very grateful to have him as a vet for my "kids". I also recommend Dr. Marzke. The entire staff is great. You will be happy with Topaz.
I would follow Dr. B to the moon too! I am very picky about the vets I use for my pets, Dr B and Dr M are the best of the best.
Dr Berthiume (Dr. "B") has been my vet for many years . He and Dr. Marzke left Adobe Animal Clinic in Scottsdale and recently opened a small private practice in Tempe. i.e.Topaz VC.. He is the most knowlegeable, caring and compassionate vet I have ever met. He treated my standard poodle, Jacque, correctly diagnosing him with Addison's Disease and gave me tx options and expert advice. If you want to find the best care for your pets, I'd look no further than Topaz. We've followed Dr. Marzke from two other clinics she's been at and now she has her own practice with Dr. B. (he's awesome too) What's awesome about them? They are the most competent, dilligent and caring vets I have EVER met. Unlike some vets, they explain veterinay terms in plain english and give you options on what is best for your pet. I brought my 7-week-old Great Dane puppy to Topaz Vet Clinic while searching for a new vet in the Tempe area. I came in for a minor skin concern and left questioning reality itself. While examining my puppy, the doctor confidently informed me that my dog could not be 7 weeks old because he had his baby teeth grown in and was "more like 12 weeks at minimum," thus my dog was not a Great Dane at all. I brought my cat in after he suddenly became very sick. He would not move, only ate if I hand-fed him, and winced when I picked him up. Hes an inside cat only, so i knew it wasnt a physical injury or caused by an accident. The initial deposit was $78 just to schedule an appointment. At the first visit, they ran $277 in bloodwork but refused to prescribe antibiotics "until they knew more." They only gave me mild pain meds (included in the $277) to cover only 5 days. EXTREMELY disappointed in my experience with Topaz. I first Started seeing Dr M & everything was fantastic. She was super attentive, discovered issues with my pup that previous vets overlooked, and truly seemed like she cared for my fur baby. I was taking my pup in every couple of weeks and getting new tests done regularly to track progress. I was switched randomly during treatment to Dr B and everything went downhill from there.
