Food and service were excellent! The waiter explained just as much as you wanted and made very helpful suggestions without being overbearing. The one drawback is that here, like at many New York City restaurants, the tables are so close together. But the quality of the food and service still made it a very good experience.
We love the antipasto bar and the delicious fennel pizza.
If you’re looking for the quintessential New York Italian restaurant, this is it! We start every trip with them, and even request our favorite waiter by name now (Joey D, you’re the best in the biz). The food is phenomenal from salads to pastas to pizza to desserts, and Joey will always steer you in the right direction with his cocktail recommendations and specialties. It’s a fun, friendly, environment that feels like coming home. No trip to NYC is complete without at least one stop at Trattoria Dell’Arte.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is Delicious. The service is incredible. We mentioned that it was our Anniversary and we were treated to a Prosecco toast and Dessert. Very gracious of them
The usual 5 star meal and cocktails at the bespoke bar and Cynthia behind the wheel.
This is a sister restaurant to Cafe Fiorello on the UWS. Menu looks the same. Because we asked for a quiet table and got one, we were not surrounded by the Saturday night din, and there is plenty of that. They respected our request so they get points for that. It's a pretty restaurant and a comfortable one, with colorful artwork on every wall. The food was very good, and priced the way you'd expect for a good restaurant in New York. The portion of Veal Parmesan was very good and very big, enough to split for average eaters. ... read more
We came for a dinner on Valentine’s Day during our holiday from the UK in New York and it was very busy, but not in a bad way. I was assured it was a popular choice. Filled with groups of people as well as couples. The decor is lovely and vibrant as I had hoped. The food, drinks and service were all top notch and everyone we interacted with brought personality to the evening. It was buzzy, but not too noisy to chat as a couple. No set menu which I was concerned we may get cornered with on a night like that. Expensive, yes bu... read more
The restaurant was very busy this Saturday night and service was a bit slow. Took a while to get our drinks and food order served. The main positive was how friendly the staff was, from the greeter to the wait staff, to the servers. The atmosphere was fun and energetic. The biggest disappointment was the food. We ordered some antipasti and of the three choices (mushrooms, cauliflower and eggplant, only the eggplant stood out with a fabulous flavor. We ordered two veal dishes, Parmigiana and Marsala (chef special), and for bo... read more
