We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately. The restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. Tables are placed close together and privacy isn't an option, at least not where we were seated. The food was delicious, except for the fried artichoke appetizer. It was heavy and greasy and not prepared to order and tasted that way. Delightful dinner. Crowded with diners. Every room covered in wall art. Attentive service. Delicious unpretentious large portions at a competitive price. We shared a fried artichokes and my guest has chicken parm and I had chicken milanese that came with an arugula salad with mozzerella and tomato in lemon olive oil dressing. It all had a fun lively vibe and I would definitely go back especially if I have tickets for Carnegie Hall

Trattoria Dell’ Arte has been around a long time as have many of their sister concepts opened by the charismatic, hospitality leader, Sir Shelly Fireman.
