Short rib meatballs are epic, service was awesome, the vibe is super cool, the art and decor are colorful and 80s chic classy.
Nice Italian family type atmosphere. Not fancy but very good.
The food and service were very good - I thought the noise level was moderate.
Food was outstanding, service people were a little inattentive.
We had our first date 30 years ago at Trattoria Dell Arte. We are no longer in the NY area but return every year for an Anniversary week. TDA is always a featured stop. Last night did not disappoint as we celebrated our 28th Anniversary. In addition to the great food, atmosphere and service is the one and only Victor, bartender, entertainer and friend. It’s like coming home.
Fantastic experience and great food. Jason our waiter was great at explaining the dishes and making recommendations for our 3 generation family dinner. He was very attentive throughout the dinner from drinks to dessert. The lasagna bolognese was very excellent, the kiddos loved the pizza and the meatball appetizers were a hit.
One of our favorite Italian restaurants. Very convenient to Carnegie Hall. Their Carbonara is a favorite.
It was our fourth or fifth visit to this Italian restaurant. The host welcomed us warmly. Our server Severo was extremely attentive and efficient, and made us relax. Food was amazing as always. Their eggplant caponata is a masterpiece that everyone should try! I truly enjoyed my veal chop parmigiana, which was large and tasty but quite light. My wife’s eggplant parmigiana was also delicious. It’s a great place for dinner before a concert at Carnegie Hall or an opera at the Met. We will be back!
The food here is really delicious with appropriate portions, just a bit over priced. My glass and a half of wine was $25, ouch! Our table would have been lovely but the large group of people next to us were extremely loud.
