Travis hasn't responded to calls or texts for several weeks. I questioned the income determination and he told me and He found out that I had applications in at other places so I could compare rates as is my right as a consumer and then he stopped replying to texts or calls. I had told him my income situation as a self employed truck driver in our 1st call but instead of listening to my situation he gave me a generic assurance that he could get it done right and had me apply. He wasted my time.

This is my 5th home I have purchased and by the far the least favorite experience I have had. I had to call and get answers or do a lot of the leg work on the back end to keep the ball moving. I know the when the corna virus hit a lot of people were starting to refinance. I know I was pushed to the back of the line Refiances are easier and quicker I get it but still not right.

Travis Bell didn't seem like he took our looking to obtain a mortgage seriously when we first contacted him. Then he wouldn't respond in a timely manner to emails and text messages. Our Realtor had to get involved to get him to reply. Then at one point he just stopped responding altogether and had someone named Jordan from DAS Acquisition to handle things and eventually Veronica from USA Mortgage got involved and she was the best of all in answering questions, friendly and getting us to closing.

This loan process was the longest I had ever experienced. Three months, I believe, for a refinance. We would go weeks without any communication. There was paperwork that we signed more than once and then were asked to sign again. We were not even told when our closing was and nearly missed it. They didn't even clarify where our closing was and we were late because we showed up at the wrong title office. We really wanted to back out and go somewhere else but didn't want another hard inquiry hit.

Lack of communication. Not having professional guidance caused us to spend more time on a delayed closing and most of all more money at closing; going with a VA loan with double the fees when we actually could have went conventional with the large down payment we had.

Everyone was great besides Travis Bell. I got accused of "changing My Story" Three times during the process. When the actual problem was that MR. Bell Had not given me the proper information when I should of received it. The only good thing that happened during this whole process was that I was able to buy my house, Which I am happy for. So thank you for that. Besides that I will not ever send and individual in this direction.
