If you choose to stay at Tropicana, avoid the west tower. It hasn’t been renovated in forever, and the elevators are sketchy. My room was bare bones with no coffee table next to the chair, they forgot to restock the amenities. I just needed a cup and they brought me six towels, no cup. Otherwise the property was fine. I like all the shops and restaurant and fast food options. They have. It’s nice that it’s beach access right on the boardwalk, but make sure you stay in one of the newer towers

Ok. But could use an upgrade and some storage. Long family weekend for a concert in town. The staff was very nice and if we needed extra towels, toilet paper, or the custodial team, the service was quick and efficient. But… there was mold in the shower. The tub didn’t drain very well, there is only the tube hanging alcove to put your clothes. No dresser or armoire. So four people living out of suitcases for four days.
