I liked that it was close to the beach. However, my first room was absolutely disgusting. It looked as if the floor was never cleaned from the previous visitors. There was sand and curly hair on the bathroom floor. There was a stain and crumbs on the sheets and rice on the table chairs and floor in the sleeping area. The hallway smelled terrible and there was some sort of fan blowing the stench all around. They did switch my room for me which was a bit better. I did extensive research when booking Tropicana. I read reviews and went on TikTok and Twitter to read the bad and good. Hotel stay was great. I booked the Havana tower. I heard the other towers are bad. While on the elevator someone mentioned requesting a new room due to the quality of another tower. I personally had no issues with my room or the hotel in general. I will say it sucked that the power went out on one side for the elevator so it’s like 300 ppl using 2 elevators the longest wait was 3-4 minutes which is fair. Y... read more

Check in process was not the best. Only one person working. She wasn’t too kind and looked tired because she was by herself. There is always and adventure to find the room. The only rooms offered by third parties companies are old and far.
