Birdeye Promotes Sarah Bennett as SVP of Sales
Veteran sales leader brings more than 20 years of experience to unify sales segments for market disruption
Birdeye, the platform that helps businesses grow through happy customers, today announced the promotion of Sarah Bennett to Senior Vice President of Sales. Bennett brings more than 20 years of experience building and developing top-performing sales teams.
Before becoming SVP of Sales, Bennett led Birdeye’s Small Business and Mid-Market sales teams. In her new role, Bennett is looking forward to unifying all sales segments opening a pathway for market disruption. She also plans to foster relationships with local universities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area to create opportunities for recent graduates looking to grow their careers in Sales with Birdeye.
“Sarah has built the Birdeye sales from the ground up. As one of our first employees, it has been heartwarming to see Sarah’s progress as our fearless leader who is equally passionate to help businesses succeed as she is to grow Birdeye employees in their sales careers,” said Naveen Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Birdeye. “We can’t wait to see Sarah in action as our new SVP of Sales and scale the Birdeye platform to millions of businesses globally.”
In 2013, Bennett joined Birdeye after working nearly 10 years at YP Marketing (formerly AT&T). At YP Marketing, Bennett was responsible for helping businesses grow through digital marketing and paid media.
”What initially drew me to Birdeye was the opportunity to help businesses grow through customer happiness. It’s incredibly exciting to build a new category, Experience Marketing,” said Bennett. “It’s easy to sell a product when you’re passionate about it, and it’s easy to get passionate when you are on a mission to help millions of businesses and billions of users. I truly believe in our industry-leading platform. We also have a wonderful team; the Birdeye family as we call it.”
