Horrible Customer Service Under no circumstances will I or my family take our cars here EVER AGAIN! Tire damage cost me a lot of money I took my car for annual inspection and tire balance/rotation. I had carefully inspected my car and tires in their parking lot before I gave it to them. One hour later they called me and showed me a shiny screw stuck in the side wall of one tire. This was definitely not caused by me. At the end I had to pay for one pair of new tires. Very POOR service We have been going to University Tire for YEARS & just have watched the service go down hill over the last 2-3 years! They constantly over charge for service, they offer the lifetime balance & rotating of tires if purchased, so we've now bought 3 sets of tires & every time it comes time to balance/rotate them we spend 5/6 hours @ least waiting to have the service done, but...

I'm surprised by the low ratings, but I guess everyone has a different experience.I have been here at least 4 times. Not once did I feel ripped off, pressured, or like they were trying to find...

charge much more than others I went to take an inspection of my car( BMW 325i), they found five parts needed to be changed, then they changed them for me and charged me about $130. After I arrived home, I checked the prices of all of those parts changed by them, the result surprised me. for example, fog lamp bulb, the average price I find is $13 more or less, but they charged me $28; wiper blade, the average price I find...

Poor Do not use these guys. They overcharge. Went in for a simple inspection and left with by belts squeaking. Then overcharged me again to fix the problem saying it was nothing that they did. In my opinion not a honest organization.

Watch out for add on charges Had to pay a $27.00 shop supplies/disposal fee and a $89.00 diagnostic fee which totaled about 30% of the repair. I was out of town and had to have my car towed to their shop and I'm grateful they were able to repair my car as fast as they did. However, were I a resident of Charlottesville I would seek out a more reasonable place to have my car repaired.

They have gotten so big that they have to overcharge for everything to cover there many expenses. They use to be OK but have become so big they don't value the customer anymore. Use to go here but not anymore. Much less expensive places that do great work and are thankful for the business!
