During a recent visit, Dr. Kharana's busy schedule makes your visits longer. For example, after a novacain shot, he'll indicate he'll be back in 5 minutes but won't return until 20 minutes later. How about focusing on the patient at hand first?
It took over 2 hours to have new crowns put in. I was not called to the back until after 40 mins after my scheduled appointment. Once in the back, I again had to wait until someone was available to put the crowns in. Then when trying to check out, the office assistants seemed to be overwhelmed with the number of people in the waiting room and those who where trying to leave. Not so good experience at the dentist for starters I set appointment I got anesthesia immediately. Then my dentist left to do a clean on someone else which surprised me because I thought I had appointment for a reason. Then it took them three attempts to get my teeth to the proper place grinding off the material they just put on. My daugther needed an antibiotic. Right across her chart it states her allergy. What did the dentist prescribe? the one that she is allergic to! If she didnt catch it, she would have been in intensive care and who knows what else. When my daugther did bring it to his attention he questioned her about really having this allergy bc "it is rare". If the dentist wants to see her hospital records that state that her allergy is so severe that it put her in ICU last time, he can! He just didnt take the time to review her chart!
First of I used 1800 Dentists and I dont know why they directed me to this place, so I should really complain about 1800Dentist. I was proscribed pain killers instead of antibiotic where I had a bad infection, the dentist didn't seem to knowledgeable and should have send me to see a specialist (endodontist) and not try and to treat it himself. I had a fractured root canal and a normal dentist should not treat in such case. I guess it all comes down to money as they also put a high price tag on what they wanted to treat...
Waited for about 45 minutes and then was there for over 2.5 hrs for simple thing. They verified insurance incorrectly.
During Xrays she placed the bitewing in my mouth for anterior uppers and asked me to bite down. I could not. It was pressing into my upper palate and hurt. I told her so and she just said with a light shrug "I'm doing the best I can." Not an appropriate response without an apology or an oops. Just felt she wanted me to follow her instructions without exception. The rest of the experience I felt she was acting superior to me. This is the only negative experience I've had at VVD.
Prices are to high compared to others in the area. Same atmosphere and work being done
The appointment started about 15 minutes late. I was taken to the room and Xrays were taken after that,I waited another 30 minutes for the dentist. I thought that I was suppose to get a cleaning. I guess I was wrong..I never received a cleaning which was what I thought I was scheduled for. Instead, I got a doctor who continously told me how I was going to spend the next 5-10 years of my life in her office utilizing my dental insurance to the max because she says that all of my initial fillings that were not done by her would... read more
