I used Vertical Chimney Care back in Dec. 2020 for chimney clean-out and new liner, then they came out again in the spring to do the outside tuckpointing. Shortly after the two visits, I had a pool of water near the chimney and I was shocked. They came out again to investigate and determined it was a leak from my roof and there was no charge for this visit, which was over an hour, I was pleased and shocked.... Very unprofessional. Showed up for initial inspection and never sent estimate. I called a few times for the estimate and was finally told they need to come back out. I was given another appointment with a 4 hour window and no one called or showed up. I have been more than patient. If you're unable to do the work, just say so and stop wasting my time. I will find a company who values my time.
In July we scheduled an appointment for September 6, we waited for the appointment but when I called I was told we weren’t on the schedule. It was rescheduled - Jason was great when he came out. Then we called to have the liner replaced that job was scheduled for October 1 and October 3. I had to give them a deposit for 1/2 the job I did that immediately. Company was a complete 'no show' - very unprofessional. Set an appointment for a comprehensive chimney inspection. Was provided with a 4 hour arrival window. Received no advance call, so I called them at beginning of the window and they confirmed. Still had heard nothing by the end of the window and it was getting dark (inspections have to be in daylight). Company told me they could not get in touch with their technician and would call back.
