On a Monday evening, my 10 year old pit bull, Sandy, swallowed a pork chop bone and it became lodged in her throat. After searching for a veterinary hospital to seek treatment, I lucked across SVRVES. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly manner and Sandy was immediately examined and determined by the vet to be in horrible danger.
