When my dog was hit by a car, I brought him to my VET. He stabilized the dog, and send me to this place. I got a very calming 'Don't worry, we got this.' impression from them.

For emergency help with your animals, this place is great. The staff was friendly and while the wait was very very long, that is understandable under the circumstances and that is the case with an emergency facility. They must take animals based on their needs. However, I did have a few issues. I did find their written instructions and the labels on the medication didn't match. We are dog sitting, so we are not familiar with dog issues. Our granddog was suffering from an itch, biting and scratching herself raw. We couldn't let her suffer. We called numerous vets and finally we were directed toward VESH. My Pomeranian is seeing Dr. Nancy Morris, the cardiologist at VESH. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she and everyone else there has been. Now with COVID-19, the hospital has gone to curbside pickup, but they will call you while you are out in your car, and discuss everything with you.

My Smokey was in need of an ICU on saturday for diabetes. We discovered, too, that he has kidney issues. Three days in their ICU and I was able to take him home. Two days later I called them, hysterical, not knowing what to do. The receptionist patched me through to an ICU nurse who talked me down from my overwhelmed state, enough to be able to better care for and assess Smokey's condition.
