RecommendedOur 13 yr old beloved dog Merlin took ill last weekend and we brought him to VESH. The staff acted quickly to the emergency situation. Dr Vaughn’s assessment of his condition was the worse possible news. She delivered the prognosis compassionately and professionally. We were given time with Merlin before and after he was euthanized. Our Phoebe gave us quite a scare. She had a canine tooth removed- we had no idea it was loose or that she was in pain. It was one of the scariest nights of our lives, but the staff was great. The nurse who explained what they were going to do was so sweet, and lovely, and when she put her hand on my shoulder as I cried and said goodbye to our baby I knew she was a good person that we could trust with Phoebe. My 9 year old pitbull had a very aggressive cancer that moved into her lungs and destroyed her quality of life very quickly. VESH was very kind and compassionate when it was time to end my poor pups suffering. I can't imagine having to do some of the work they have to do every day. Thank you very much VESH.

Dr. McLaughlin and Meg were absolutely the most compassionate people when we lost our dear sweet Gabbie last night. I’ve worked in veterinary hospitals around MA thru the years and they were phenomenal! We recently needed emergent care for our dog who we thought might have ingested something harmful. Fortunately, that was confirmed false. But during the examination while we waited, the staff was receptive, supportive, professional, yet personal. We observed the staff treat pet parents with respect and compassion, answering questions and calming anxieties. We are fortunate to have 24-hour emergency veterinary care so accessible, staffed by skilled and caring individuals. I recommend VESH without hesitation.
