As usual food and service were terrific.

This place is officially my favorite Italian Restaurant in Astoria.
Brought family here for Saturday dinner. One of the better Italian spots in Astoria. Awesome wine list, and daily specials are worth trying. Servers were extremely attentive and we were treated to a complimentary champagne toast for dessert. Not a huge place (especially when restricted to indoors only) so make a reservation. Will come again!
Via Trenta is my GO TO Italian spot. I grew up in a very Italian family and this place is so amazing. Everything I have gotten from this restaurant has been delicious. I bring friends and family here and they all love it and want to come back. The staff is great, the food is cooked wonderful, and we loved eating earlier on because we had the entire place to ourselves before the rush came. This place is a MUST GO.

We made a reservation New Years eve. At first it was a reservation for two but my mother and son were added to our reservation. They were very accommodating and gave us a table for four. We had the prosciutto and the artichoke appetizers. My mother had the fillet mignon, my wife had the seafood plate, and I had the organic salmon. All dishes were great!
First time here. Heard so much about this place. Started off with drinks. The we ordered a bottle of wine. Order 4 apps. Oysters, grilled octupus which was hard (needed more cooking time), beef carpaccio which was cut as thick as bologna and covered in rock salt. Not good at all. The we had the squid ink fettuccine with seafood in a spicy red sauce. This was good but could have been great if there was more spice. Asked for truffle butter added to the veal. Not only did they not add it, they charged us $47 since it was “off menu” when veal was priced around $25. Staff seemed upset we didn’t order drinks or dessert. After taking the order, the waiter never returned to the table and other staff came by instead to drop off the check

By checking our Menu anybody can see that the Veal Entree price is $39 and not $25 as is falsely stated. (Our chicken entrees are priced at $32) The additional $8 substitution fee was for the fresh truffle-butter sauce. This kind of misleading negative feedbacks are unacceptable!
