The food was excellent. The staff and service was also very good! Very polite and accommodating! A little noisy but it was Mothers Day and crowded Overall experience was very good and we would definitely come again. Great neighborhood Italian restaurant!!!!
Normally a Mother’s Day menu is mediocre, however we devoured our meals. The entrees were cooked to perfection. Nothing was left on our plates. Thank you for a memorable dining experience.
We were meeting another couple who were stuck in traffic and an hour late. They let us have a drink while waiting for them at the table. When it came time to order, nobody wanted appetizers. I ordered 2 appetizers for my main meal and asked that they come when the others were being served their main courses. The server did not understand my request. I have probably gone to Via Trenta for 8 Christmas Eve Dinners and it is always amazing. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Astoria. The service is superb and I always looking forward to going to dinner here. They have options for everyone, including vegetarians like me. The food is incredible. If you have not yet tried Via Trenta, you should go immediately! The Carciofini is the best appetizer I have ever had. : )

I have been going to this gem of a restaurant for 12 years and it never disappoints. Great Italian chicken and veal dishes, including accommodating off-menu requests. Fantastic wine list, especially and no surprise, Italian wines, including San Giovese by the glass. Tips: sit in the new (ish) back room by the open wine cellar for better ambience Order a bottle of wine rather than the pint option, which could serve to Glass by Glass. I asked for tap water and was then served water from a bottle that I was then charged for. Any attempt at making an actual pasta with flavor ended up being a bland overcooked excuse for a meal.
