Get directionsI come here just for the food. Since moving in my loved ones here they have ravedanout the meals and the presentation and i can see what they mean everytime I eat here. Food is well presented even more so then in some restaurants. We love their family nights where we can always expect a meal delight. Keep up the good work.
The staff at The Village at Mapleshade is really nice and patient. My mother is participating in the activities of the community she is enjoying them. I really would like for the meals to have a better presentation and garnish to them. I had dinner with my mother and the diner was lovely but the food was very plain.
Wonderful new Assisted Living! From the moment you walk in friendly homey feeling! The residents seem happy and the staff and directors are the best! Beautiful well maintenance grounds and the food is wonderful!
We're very pleased with how things have turned out at The Village at Mapleshade! My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far it's been a very positive experience. The facility itself is fantastic, always very clean and well kept, and the staff do a great job looking out for the residents. I toured quite a few communities in the area and the staff at The Village is really what set them apart and won me over. I would highly recommend them!
Worst place I have lived. Food tasteless, very small portions, no refills, often run out of food before all residents arrive. High turnover staff. Many indifferent to comments, criticism, and suggestions. I would never recommend to others.
The director is very uncooperative. The services that are supposed to be delivered are very inconsistent. Overall, if I had an option, I would be moving my loved one. They put on a front at the initial visit including the food that was served, their friendliness, and openness towards both the residents and their family members. The director acted as if she would be approachable with any concerns but when we did approach her she was defensive and rude to us.
I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere if your parent is in need of any assistance. My mom was kicked out of Mapleshade while on hospice after living there for three years, at the same time we realized through hospice, not mapleashade, that she had a stage 4 bedsore on her sacrum(please google stage 4 bedsore). Hospice told us we needed to urgently move her, and that same day we were told she had to leave Mapleshade. We moved her to a residential care home urgently and my mother passed away three weeks later. The constan... read more
My mother in law developed a stage 4 bed sore here. Do not put your loved one in this home!
There is not nearly the level of patient interaction (promoting involvement in activities) that we were lead to believe there would be. My family member goes days, even weeks without leaving their room.
