Well, my dogs are grazers when it comes to eating. It seemed to be a big problem when checking in to have just a trough of food rather than a measurable amount to track. I understand the advantage of tracking dogs food intake but I would’ve appreciated feeling like the staff valued preserving what little of my dogs’ routine at home as possible. As for clarification, we typically request a measurable amount of food even if a dog is a grazer or free feeder. My dog Alta had not boarded before. I admit to having anxiety regarding this process. I was pleased to hear positive feedback from the staff about Alta's response. I was especially pleased with Kyle's text containing specific information regarding Alta's actions. Kyle's commentary reflected observations consistent with what I personally know about my dog.
