DO NOT GET YOUR COVID TEST HERE. I needed a Covid test before I was able to return to school so I researched the many options of places to get tested. Noting that most were free, I went ahead with the location nearest me, WellNow. My grandson got stung by a bee while we were on vacation. He had never been stung so I was afraid he might be allergic so I took him to the Well Now. They looked at him, he had no reaction. There was no medication, no ointments, not even a bandaid. When I get back from vacation and I receive the bill that his insurance wouldn't cover because we didn't have a referral, $207.00!!!! Just for them to look at him & say he was ok, they didn't spend more than 10 minutes with him.

Buyer beware! This review is not about the staff at this location because they did a good job. This is about the billing practices of this organization. We were on vacation and my wife needed to go the Urgent Care so we went to the Wellnow location in Fairport, NY. We did not see a doctor but instead saw a Nurse Practitioner. We were literally with the Nurse Practioner for a maximum of 8 minutes. It took us longer to get registered when we came in than the amount of time we spent with the Nurse Practitioner. The receptionist was very welcoming and inviting with a sense of humor. However, once in the room for an evaluation, the nurse was unprofessional and rude. Although the wait was rather short, the Physicians Assist came in to evaluate, she was very condescending and not helpful. Needless to say, my family will not return to this location nor would I recommend their services to anyone.

The process of getting in was awesome. The problem is, when I called back 48 hours later to get a prescription called in for some cough medicine after day 7 of being sicker then sick (because my chest, head, and sinuses are all clear and being told this is VIRAL and the fluid in my ears will go away) I was told that I would have to pay another $160 to come in and see the person on duty that day.
