Amazing care. Let me describe yesterday. My daughter and i were sick and she had another sensitive issue and wanted a female Dr. The Lyell ave location was so kind to tell me that theres no female Dr and with a 2 hour wait it would be best to go to another location at Dewey Ave. So we did. They were amazing and very patient and accommodating to my 9yo. The front desk workers at BOTH locations were amazing as well. The PA seen was super kind, as well as the tech that assisted. This is my preferred Urgent Care location. Due to my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance I was unable to go there until last week because BCBS finally agreed to update their coverage. They are efficient, quick and friendly staff. I will say that my family and I have had some good experiences at Urgent Care. A few years ago during the pandemic I took my son there to be seen. I have never had to go to urgent care prior to this visit, but I was very impressed with this facility. From the very professional and friendly woman at the front desk, to the nurse that took my vitals and the doctor that I saw, everyone was great! The facility is clean and the staff is organized, kind and knowledgeable. They even have coffee, water and slushies for the kids in the waiting area. I went at 8:45 on a Friday morning and was there for 1 hour, with four people ahead of me.
Do not come to this place, if you ask why they are taking so long they will denied care and yell at you for no reason. Be careful with private care like this one, they have the right to denied care and the law give them the right. We should not encourage for the Healthcare to become private because the day the do not like you the stop caring period. Lesson learned today and has amazed me to know this and to understand better the seriousness of what we vote for.
Don't waste your time! Especially if you have BCBS! They don't accept it and will then charge you $165 and don't actually listen to your concerns. I explained I had chest congestion as I had before and needed an antibiotic and an ibuterol inhaler. Matt Williams came in didn't even listen to my concerns, assumed it was covid and prescribed me benadryl and Prednisone. This did nothing but exhaust me and mess with my hormones.
