Works great, right out of the box. Only suggestion, being in Arizona, you want to have gray or dark gray hoses so the sun doesn't destroy them.
The Zodiac G3 works great; just like my old model. Unfortunately it still gets hung up on my pool steps.

We have had 3 different Kreepy Krawlys over past years and all of them get stuck in the corner. We purchased the Zodiac last summer and we have never had to pull it out of corner. In addition it is quite, very quite. We are very pleased with its high functioning of it too . 100% great!

This is my 3rd Generation Barracuda G3 - Couldn't find one time before so opted for Kreepy-Krauly. No comparison - Love my Zodiac - Just plain Excellent.
