6 years and still going strong! The media could not be loaded. I've had my Zodiac Barracuda g3 for 6 years now. I ordered it on Amazon and absolutely love it! It is great once you get the settings right. Make sure to save the owners manual and follow the directions exactly. If it gets stuck on the stairs, just increase the flow a little bit at your valve and it will fix itself. Replace the hoses when they get brittle and always check the diaphragm for cuts. Pool cleaner The sweep was easy to assemble and easy to use.
Collar got in the way The suction was bad because the collar got under the foot and then no suction.
Works Great! My pool looks beautiful from this vacuum! Very easy to put together...you need to be strong to fit the hoses together though. I really like it... so nice!
Sweeper's path pattern not cleaning entire pool Happy with everything except for how the sweeper always misses same areas in the pool. My previous pool sweeper (a different brand) had a completely random pattern and cleaned the pool floor and sides thoroughly. This new sweeper is not completely random; it always avoids some areas. Setup adjustments makes it clean those areas at the expense of then completely missing other areas.
Love this vacuum! We had bought a more expensive robot vacuum and had a lot of problems with it, not to mention having to clean it after every use. When it broke, I needed something quick to get me through. I bought this and it's amazing. It includes the tubes you need and they are a pretty blue color. It keeps the pool relatively clean, moves around the whole thing (we have a large pool). It goes up the sides a little, but not all the way, and that is to be expected. I love this little guy. We are gonna sell our robot now.
Best pool cleaner Went through several other pool cleaner types before finding this one. Simple, inexpensive, works great. You have to change the diaphragm every so often but it is a simple procedure. We use the pool most of the year here in AZ and we love this cleaner.
Well worth the extra cost over cheaper models. Quiet. Cleans the pool walls better than previous. Doesn't get stuck at stairs. Only one moving part which can be easily replaced. No more having to buy a new vacuum every year or two.
