The Zodiac G3 is a great vacuum. This is the second one I bought; the first one broke after 3 years. However, it worked so well that I bought the same one again. I've had others, but they were not as good as the G3. One this I don't really like about the G3 is the price. I paid $243.00 for it. compared to others, it's a good price, but I still think it should be priced somewhere around $150.00.
Great product had it installed in less than 20min.
Works great so far, even climbs the walls and whisper quiet! So far so good. Skeptical on longevity, due to history with other cheaper cleaners.

My first Baracuda G series lasted 9 years. I have a salt water pool and it performed well.
Would highly recommend. Love the cleaner, & the quick service was great.
The G3 does work very well. My problem is more with the greenish hose. I've already given my opinion on this. Just wanted to re-say the fact that I believe that with all the new liners that are of beautiful blues .. this greenish hose of 25 years in existence (maybe more) should be changed or at least have different boxes of G3 with different choices of color hoses. The G3 is a fantastic vacuum but I am unfortunately stuck with the greenish hoses in my beautiful blue pebble beach pool
