Much better than the clickity-clack of the Kreepy. It seems to do a good job if you give it enough time. It's not as fast as the Kreepy and doesn't seem to have as much suction so I seem to be running it more. I don't have a problem with that. But for the value I found this M6 simple to operate and the best value. Recently I've tried the newest "Smart" Robot, Battery and Electric. They suck. If your trying to impress your techie friends go ahead and waste your money. I'll take a simple mechanical item that works over some high tech electronic item any day. It is an amazing machine. runs along the bottom, of course, but also climbs up the walls and cleans those too. there are two spots where the maching get stuck, so I have to check on it every so often and I suggest that you do to, but it pretty much works. 3.0 out of 5 stars Hose disintegrated after 15 months Sweeper works great. Had to replace main gear box after 9 months of use. Hose disintegrated after 15 months. To be fair, the pool temperature got to 100 degrees with the cover on. Very surprising to see the hose sections fall apart like that. Hoses were never left out of the water and were under the cover when they started to disintegrate.
