Bought this after long debate with myself for two months and I’m was i sure glad I did. It runs and moves like a champ. Climbs vertically so good! My pool had a bit of algae residue on the bottom and it cleaned it all in 4 hours. I recently got my pool equipment replaced and pool tile and plaster redone. This sweeper is easy on the newer plaster. My pump is a variable speed motor. The zodiac MX8 runs great. After switching up to a 2.0hp pump, the MX8 started to run much better and cleans up the debris in the pool like a champ. Our pool maintenance guy told us the the MX8 is the best in the business so I'm glad I did my research on Zodiac to find the best pool vacuum on the market. Thanks, RMS
