The Zodiac MX8 was suggested by the pool supply pool manager and my pool service man. It turned out to be everything they said it was. Great machine and it does a fantastic job. So good that I had to let my pool guy go but in his honor, I named it after him. “Nelson” is doing a better job cleaning the pool then the real Nelson!

I love the Zodiac MX8. I do wish it was able to do my steps and tanning ledge and that it came with better attachment pieces. I have a separate vacuum line and the hose doesn’t fit great onto the line. Everything else is perfect!

There are two things you should check: the wheel speed and hose weight. The hose weight should be about 9 inches from the cleaner. Here's how to check your wheel speed: 1. Turn on the pool filter pump. 2. Obtain a stopwatch or timer. 3. It gets clogged easily
