Its great except is always hangs up on the built in stairs of our pool.

I am decently happy with the zodiac mx8 elite cleaner as it has made keeping the pool clean less maintenance intensive as I have been doing the cleaning manually for the last 2 years. I am happy that I was able to purchase the cleaner with the instant rebate and hope that it will last. I have tried another suction cleaner recently and a loaner zodiac barracuda g3 but they kept getting stuck in a corner and at the lower suction ports at the back wall even though the flow was turned off. Some tips to improve the life of the tracks: 1) Keep an extra set on hand. 2) Remove the cleaner before adding chemicals to the pool. 3) Reduce the amount of time the cleaner is kept in the pool to only that which is necessary. We have nicknamed our MX8 Max the poolboy and he does an outstanding job of scrubbing our pool and cleaning things up for us. He doesn't complain about the heat or work conditions and works for a low fee. He was the best purchase we made since buying our house and having a pool for the first time. Very easy to set up and get him familiar with our pool. Money well spent.
Was hesitant at first because it was just moving in a circle when placed in the pool, but after a short while it moved throughout and by the next day noticed the difference in how clean the pool was.
