Some tips to improve the life of the tracks: 1) Keep an extra set on hand. 2) Remove the cleaner before adding chemicals to the pool. 3) Reduce the amount of time the cleaner is kept in the pool to only that which is necessary. We have nicknamed our MX8 Max the poolboy and he does an outstanding job of scrubbing our pool and cleaning things up for us. He doesn't complain about the heat or work conditions and works for a low fee. He was the best purchase we made since buying our house and having a pool for the first time. Very easy to set up and get him familiar with our pool. Money well spent.
Was hesitant at first because it was just moving in a circle when placed in the pool, but after a short while it moved throughout and by the next day noticed the difference in how clean the pool was.
