I cannot believe how well the Zodiac cleans my pool! I have a screen cage, but there are large trees over it, so there is lots of fine plant debris always falling in. Since adding the Zodiac... zero debris. The machine cleans the entire pool and even crawls up the walls and keeps them clean too. BRAVO!
Easy to install. Works well.
Best pool vacuum. I haven’t had to manually vacuum once since we purchased this unit.
I bought this when my old Kreepy Krauly ran out of steam. It out-performs even the KK's brand-new state by a large margin, especially at lower pump speeds.. My only criticism it that it spends a lot of its time (10-20%) spinning in place, and straight-line runs are very short (usually less than 10 feet). As a result, it can take many hours to cover the entire pool, when otherwise a few hours would have sufficed. Love it. Works efficiently.
I am impressed with the overall performance of this device. I like the idea with the action of the ability to walk along or up the walls of the pool. One thing that I noticed was that quite frequently the machine turns 360 degrees and starts back towards the same location it came from. It would be nice if the device would possibly stop on less that full 360 degree rotation and start it’s walking motion in another direction. Is there a way to overcome this problem. It works very well to keep the pool clean. The only issue I've had is with an occasional large piece of debris getting caught in the inlet and jamming the mechanism (and completely stopping the cleaner), but, once removed, the MX8 Elite works fine.
My pool is clean, I am happy!
So far is pretty good, it really cleans in the bottom of the pool My daughter loves it
