Great value and product
Great, self efficient cleaner. But just like all cleaners.... Certain objects can jam up the wheels very easily so it needs to be monitored.

This cleaner is great. It doesn’t do well with string type debris. I have a elephant palm around the pool and unfortunately these get stuck in the cleaner.
Outstanding. This thing is a beast. I have a fiberglass in-ground pool, 9,500 gallons. This bad boy keeps it nice and clean. Easy to use. Easy to maintain.
It seems to work well but setting the right amount of suction with the Pentair Intelliflow 3080 VS is tough. It's a very fine line between enough suction and drawing to much air into the pump and loosing prime as keeping the skimmer returns and maintain drains barely operational. Using the rpm of the brushes as,a guide to the proper suction doesn't leave the MX8 Elite enough power to climb the walls. Also haven't seen it attempt to climb steps either. It's new and I'm hoping once I get it adjusted just right all will work ... read more
