Works as advertised, scrubbing both the walls and floor of the pool. Pool water quality definitely looks enticing. Note that larger leaves will cause the MX8 Elite to stop moving. There is a yellow ring type fixture at the bottom which can be removed to allow for larger leaves to pass through without getting stuck. Some leaf debris can also get trapped within the "motor". Easy enough to open the enclosure by unscrewing 8 screws and cleaning the inside.

It was easy to set up the Zodiac MX8 Elite Suction Cleaner. Since then it has been cleaning very good. Couple of times the leaves got stuck . Taking them out was easy. And it is working very good. Now we always have a clean pool.

We've only installed the Zodiac MX8 Elite Suction Cleaner for a couple of weeks, so far it is working quite well. It moves up and down the pool wall without any problems. It does have difficulty trying to get up the steps, falls backwards and keeps trying at the same spot - making it appear stuck. Eventually it gives up and moves on. Maybe it's designed that way. If they can engineer it to also make it up the steps, I'd give it 5 stars.
