It works well. I may have missed it, but I didn't see in the instructions that the suction at the bottom of the pool needed to be turned off. I didn't learn that until I called Zodiac Customer Service. I would prefer to buy it online. I know they want to support local pool supply businesses, but online is easier.

bought this to replace my previous cleaner (different brand) and the MX8 was awesome. It doesn't get stuck anywhere and covers the entire pool
