not as good as it's brother Zodiac Cyclonic Leaf Canister I had a Zodiac Cyclonic Leaf Canister for about 4 years and loved it, this model is not as very not built to last the plastic is very thin. The lock on the cover comes off a little too easy. mesquite leaves are not stopped as well, the thin leaves go right through the screen. And the canister is too small for a large pool. my advice is don't try to save a few bucks! get the Zodiac Cyclonic Leaf Canister . Zodiac quality, saves your pump basket I've had one of these for years on my Zodiac Barracuda G3 suction hose. My old one finally broke (plastic tabs broke so basket housing fell off) after being in chlorinated water for more than 8 years. This is a replacement. Easy to install (you can hook it directly to the wall suction port, or place between sections of hose) and keeps leaves and debris from clogging your suction line (bad if you have to dig it up to remove clog) or pump basket (too much debris can cause it to crack). Not sturdy made but does the job Does the job, but flimsy made. The plastic parts seems to be prone to breakage if not be careful while disengaging for cleaning as few other reviews stated.
