Zodiac leaf catcher I bought it because it replaces a Hayward catcher that did not really fit my Zodiac Baracuda pool vac line (different diameters.) It does catch debris just fine. BUT,one of the selling points was that you do not need to remove the vac line and canister from the pool, in order to get at the basket for cleaning. What they didn't tell us is that the basket traps debris around its exterior not on the inside of the basket like one would expect.
