Good idea, too glitchy
We love the accessibility that 8x8 provides! Having access to phone calls, messages AND faxes from our mobile devices and tablets when we are not in the office is beyond beneficial! Likes Best I love that it's completely web based...and easy to use. I was concerned with down time given it's web based but we haven't experienced 0 down time! I would recommend that you learn the software...so often individuals don't take the time to completely understand the functionality of the system.
We have two buildings and several work from home staff. 8x8 puts the whole company on the same level as a corporate enterprise. This is the most effective mobile telephony solution we have ever used.
The 8x8 Virtual Office App on our smartphones means our staff can professionally answer calls from anywhere in the world, while our clients may as well think they are sitting at their desk!
I work for a Technology re-seller that relies heavily on it's conversations and the ability to follow up with past contacts. Being able to copy a number from our CRM and dial them with hands free capabilities allows our business the agility it needs to be successful. We recently migrated all of our offices and field personnel onto the 8x8 service. Its awesome having 6 different offices and remote workers with extension dialing. You don't have to "think" about where they are. You just look up their name and click "Call"
