For me, i love the ease of being able to forward my 8x8 landline phone to my cell phone. this way my customers can always reach me, and the ease of doing it makes it AWESOME. The other great feature is getting my voicemails emailed to me. So if im in another part of the building and dont want to forward my calls, if somebody calls and leaves a voicemail - i get it on my cell phone right away. I love that I can login online and effortlessly make changes to our system at any time 24/7. It is convenient when registering new employees, vacations, directional voicemail or grouped messages and much more. Customer service is great to work with and they solve our questions with ease. There are settings that we do not use, but I can see how convenient it would be for someone to use 8x8 for off site work or business travel. Voicemail linking with Email, Makes being away from our desks a lot less of a hassle.
I love that all of my faxes come directly to my email and that it tells me when my fax has gone through, or if it fails to go through!
The consolidation of my phone services has saved tremendous costs and has led my crews to more efficiently handle the call volume.
Flexibility! We love it that it is so easy to do anything. Need a number in Australia? Done. Need to swap out a physical phone for another one? Done. Need a hunt group for inbound calls? Done. Technical support is always helpful and they work hard to make sure we are happy. Finally, we love it that 8x8 is constantly upgrading features and services behind the scenes and we get to enjoy these new capabilities now. If we had a dedicated phone switch we could never do these things. Thanks 8x8!
