Our house got robbed and we lost over 530 dollars, and the home owners refused to give us the video. The rental company said there weren't cameras and they didn't technically have to have them, but there really was cameras come to find out.
The houses are beautiful and just what we needed but they baracaded the houses in like we were animaals.i will rent from ALP again but I will never stay in myrtle beach again during bikeweek. We all payed good money to stay in the area to be treated less than human.
Everything was as beautiful as expected inside and out. However, for the price I paid, I expected everything to be perfect but there were a few flaws. We stayed in 407 where a fooseball table was included. I thought it would be great for all of kids and distant cousins. It didn't work or even have a ball. The beds were supposed to all be king sized. The request was completed a month out but when we got there all the beds except one was split. Have my units ready, have the AC working, have the parking passes available, have shower curtains for the showers! It was a total disappointment for what we paid for!
Parking situation was challenging for 5 cars. Air conditioner leaked. Circuit breaker for one room kept tripping. Beds were not distributed as we would have liked for 8 guys, and we couldn't readjust them. Ocean view was nice. We weren't accustomed to having bedrooms on the noise floor. We will not use this condo again without adjustments
Everything was good except the floors were dirty. They were not mopped before our stay. We were in bear feet and our feet were black after a couple of hour of being there. No soap left for the dishwasher. Should have been 1. I would suggest you check the floors after your cleaning people. You can't see the dirt because the floors are a dark color.
Nice location. The place could stand to be updated. We had to go buy a pool stick repair kit to play pool because all sticks were broke.
The house was conveniently located but there were many pre-existing issues that should not exist or should be fixed in a timely manner. One bathroom had on the second floor had a broken faucet and a broken tub stop. There was also black mold in the overhead vent in the second floor single queen bedroom. It was all good except for the 2nd year in a row we couldn't get in at 4pm house wasn't cleaned ended up not getting in until after 7pm.
