They moved a piano from a storage unit in the O.C. to a home in Beverly Hills. Setting up the appointment was easy. As promised, they called the day before to let us know the exact pick-up and delivery windows. The next day, they arrived when they said they would. The move went extremely well; it was tricky getting the piano into our new home (stairs, wood floors), but the men did an excellent job. Cash only. Highly recommended.
They are amazingly nice people and offer my Craigslist buyer help hand for moving stove. Price was the most reasonable did amazing job for my piano move! I highly recommend them for every body !
This review is WAY past due. A year and a half ago, I moved from a small pool house apartment into an apartment on the 4th floor. The pathway from my first place was a narrow one lined with a POOL. First bout of nervousness cleared. It wasn't a problem at all. The destination was the issue. The elevator to the FOURTH floor was too small. That means they had to push my baby grand up 4 flights!!! We needed to move a baby grand piano from our house to our friend's house a couple of cities away. We called around and this company had the best price and seemed capable from our calls. They arrived during the promised window and packed up, moved and set up the piano without incident. I am not a piano moving expert but they certainly seemed to handle it in a professional and appropriate way. I would use them again.
I can't recommend theses guys highly enough. Initial communication was timely, professional and polite. Rates are excellent. They gave a two hour slot on the day I requested, then called me 20 mins before they turned up, so no hanging around. Danny and his team worked quickly, I felt the piano was in good hands. Fast, efficient, and friendly. They even helped move a small filing cabinet out of the way so the piano could be placed where I wanted it. This was the second time I used this company and I would definitely call them again to move my spinet.
I think they contract their work out to other movers, because the place that showed up was not called Affordable Piano Movers. It was something like Alan's. Anyway, three guys showed up. One of them raced to my bathroom and stank it up big time. It stunk like rotten eggs an hour after they left. They moved the piano just fine, and they were cheap.
