Lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. The decor is fabulous with giant buddhas, elaborate lighting, animated art, and food that is plated so beautifully that it also is art. The menu inc steak, sushi, and is eclectic enough to appeal to all. Service was wonderful, and the birthday celebration with flaming rocket candles was a terrific surprise. The parking situation is difficult. We parked at Horton Plaza for $25, which is several blocks away and there are lots of homeless around. No valet is available. But...your mo... read more

This place is part of a subset of sushi restaurants that is more about the entertainment than the substance. The ambiance is very energetic and colorful, but the food selection and quality was just OK. I would have preferred somewhere quieter, more traditional, with greater fish/roll selection.

The food was amazing and service by the waiter was amazing. My 3 star rating is due lack of professionalism by the chef. A special valentines menu was given to us with the chefs special. When we attempted to order it the chef refused to make it… why even put it in your menu if you unwilling to serve it. Very unprofessional.
