Great restaurant for a birthday or date night. The ambiance and decor is amazing, they really paid attention to every detail, it's such a beautiful restaurant! The food and drinks were delicious; we tasted two different sushi rolls and the orange chicken.
Our server Martin is divine. He’s super helpful and superb customer service. The food is ok. I ordered a miso black cod, the miso sauce is too much. It was too sweet. It’s a bit pasty too. Please revise your recipe, it should not look and taste like that. Other wise the rest of our food is delicious. My lychee martini was perfectly made.
Ambiance here is 10/10. Delivery on food items was not up to standard for the kind of establishment. Flavor profiles were off and although presentation was okay overall taste was bland.
Martin was an amazing server! Served us with enthusiasm and made our birthday celebration memorable! Great food, great ambiance, great company = great memories
The service was excellent, and thanks to Martin, the experience was unbelievable. The food and atmosphere were great, too. I can't wait to go back!
My friends and I were unable to make a reservation at another restaurant, we just happened upon AKA. We were soo pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere. They go all out to celebrate birthdays, with sparkler candles for the whole table and a birthday song from the dj booth. The manager was overwhelmingly on top of everything. He knew right away I wasn't feeling well or that I didn't like my food, he came over and asked to ensure everything was okay with the food. Best spot to celebrate a birthday if you love sushi and a pretty backdrop!
Server was great, food was pretty good, ambiance is cool and restrooms need a bit of an update.
This is my 2nd time at AKA and I was extremely disappointed 😔. The ambiance and the service was great, but the drinks and food this time was a HUGE let down. I always order the espresso martini and it was watered down. It didnt even have the creamy foam at the top. I ordered the steak and asked for a medium rare. It was totally over cooked and dry. I guess I shouldn’t have ordered that at a sushi restaurant, but lesson learned.
