Emily was absolutely amazing! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcome and taken care of. Her energy was upbeat, and she really knew her way around the bar -- every drink came out perfectly balanced. The food was just as good -- fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. You can tell the kitchen and bar work well together. If you stop by, definitely ask for Emily -- she'll make sure your whole experience is top-tier.

We were there for our daughter's 25th birthday, and Martin hosted us extremely well. It was a great experience and we will be back!

Came to San Diego last min and was not distracted. Searched up "best places in San Diego" TikTok and this place popped up. The warm welcome from Kelsey alone brightened up our mood, but Johnny and Miguel the bartenders made my wife and I feel like locals. Food, drinks and ambiance 12/10 will definitely come back next time we're in town ! Sam Diego staple!

Food: Bluefin Tuna Wasabi Roll - spicy kick from wasabi but not overpowering. really tasty and flavorful! fav roll! Went to AKA with a group of 7 people. It was quiet on a Monday night and there was no wait. Interior is chic. We ordered 7 different kinds of specialty rolls and devoured them all. Everything was fresh and tasty. We also had the garlic edamame which was good and several order miso soup or salad and those got thumbs up too. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall it's a nice, relaxed spot for sushi if you are in the Gaslamp district.

My husband and I came for restaurant week and ordered a couple things and it's honestly way too expensive for the quality that you get. I'm not saying that it was horrible but I definitely could've had the same quality food in a cheaper price. The ambiance was beautiful and loud as per it being a Saturday night which I didn't mind. But our bill was $300 for 4 drinks, 2 restaurant week dinners which was about $54 per person and an a la carte appetizer. The drinks are all about $18+.
