I had the best experience at AKA. This was an accidental find that didn't disappoint. The V manager went above and beyond to ensure we were having a good time and enjoying our food.

I highly recommend the Singapore tempura rock shrimp & the garlic edamame. My husband rates the filet mignon a 7.5. The lobster pasta was very bland. I don't recommend that! The tempura roll was a 7 for me, the tempura was very hard/ crunchy. But the vibes of this place is great! The service was a 8.5. I would come back and try something different. Loving the music here

AKA was full of vibes, food was good especially the ube coconut cheesecake and lychee martini, and the service was so responsive. Cru was the best! Will def come back

Martin's service was great ! Very helpful and attentive. Experience and ambiance was excellent. Pork belly bao buns are delicious with awesome flavor. The ube horchata cocktail is a must try . The dj they have after hours is a nice touch .
Stumbled upon this place during a Thursday afternoon stroll. What caught our attention was the happy hour and the interior design. We were greeted by Martin. He was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and patient with us. He also gave great recommendations, since it was our first time. Definitely going back again! The food was delicious. The chef really took his time with the presentation. I am not a dessert person, but the ube cheesecake blew me away!

AKA is a hidden gem in gaslamp of San Diego! Such a fun vibe this Friday night. Had Stephanie as our server, recommended amazing sushi and the ambiance under the Buddha!
