Cru was a great server and we had a great time!! He was attentive and even though we were in a big group he took care of all of us. Regarding the food, it was alright. The fusion theme allowed for a lot of different food options between Thai, Chinese and Japanese (sushi and miso) It was a last minute decision and we were happy that they were able to accommodate such a big group in the first place. Cru definitely was the better part of this experience!

So we were visiting San Diego for Halloween weekend, and for our last night, we decided to go to the Gaslamp and grab a bite to eat. I chose AKA because it was open late. Honestly, this restaurant, which transforms into a nice lounge later on in the night, exceeded my expectations. We were seated immediately in this nice booth-type chair, which was very comfortable. I had Alyssa as my server, she was great! Exceeded all of my expectations, made sure there was not a cup empty or a plate left cleared. One of the best service experiences I've ever had, would definitely recommend!

We had a great time! The hostess was awesome and moved our seat! Cru was a great and fun server. I really like the bow tie! The food was great and the ambiance was cool! It was a little too loud to hear conversation at times.

My wife brought me here for my birthday. Our server Cru was the GOAT and really made us feel like we were VIP. The service was impeccable, food was good and served was fast.
