I had a great dinner celebration at this place. Food was very tasty and the ambience so fun. I really recommend it.
Dinner was great and our server was terrific, very personable! The crab rice and tuna sushimi were top choices!
Attending the American Association for Cancer Research in town and needed to get away from the meetings for an evening to relax. Selected AKA and was very pleased. The ambiance, service and food was excellent. We get back to San Diego periodically and will definitely put AKA on our list of preferred restaurants. Could have been the Lucky Buddha Beer.
Everything else was amazing just server was rushing us . Asked us for our check twice while we were eating our food . I mentioned it was my bday and he didnt say anything so came back with a check. The table next to us had a birthday cake so it felt kinda mean from that server but the restaurant was amazing will definitely come back just will make sure not to get the same server.
The food wasn’t seasoned to expectation, the noise level is super high and the food is way expensive.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. The ambiance was amazing, food was delicious and our server James was THE BEST! definitely will be back!
Food is good but not amazing. Came out slightly warm and should have been hot considering the restaurant wasn’t busy. Filet potstickers were very tasty. Cocktails were good. Sushi was just ok.
Wow,such a fantastic ambience and esthetic in AKA. From the moment you arrive until the final bite,AKA does not disappoint. We wanted to try one of everything on the menu because the aroma and sight of beautifully hand crafted dishes were in abundance. Drago,our server was fabulously attentive and made the dining experience top notch with his recommendations. Make a reservation,take your time and enjoy everything AKA has to offer.
The food was actually really delicious. Unfortunately it was the worst service we experienced in San Diego in our entire time there. We went all over and this place was absolutely awful with service and the table was sticky and full of dust. Was unpleasant as far as that goes but like I said, the food was decent. We ordered 3 Different rolls and a main dish and it all was good. Such a shame bc we would’ve ordered more bottle service had there been better service.
