Took a friend that was visiting from Japan she wanted to try American sushi and Japanese’s food. I loved all the energy that you feel when you walk in. We just came from top of Hyatt for drinks so now we wanted some food. The menu has a mix of different Asian flavors. It was unique. We have visited a lot of the countries that had certain specialties on the menu. We really loved the shrimp pad Thai. It was spicy but sweet. This is one of the best places to eat in San Diego. The food is outstanding, especially the seafood, and the ambience and whole feel of the place is wonderful and cohesively themed. Will definitely be back!

Felt like the servers were coming too often. It would’ve been nice to get some breathing room. It was a slow night so I maybe they are trying to stay busy. Food taste good you don’t get a lot for how much you pay. It isn’t downtown so it has that downtown price hike.

Our first time there and we were celebrating a birthday. They gave us a round of complimentary birthday shots. Happy hour menu was great and shareable. The drinks were also tasty. For meals, we got the filet, short rib, and black cod. Presentation on everything we ordered was amazing and tasted delicious. I forgot the name of our server, but he was very attentive. I loved the ambiance of this establishment. I will definitely return!
