We had a great dinner at Akaa. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting — intimate without being overly formal. Food and service was AMAZING! Fun spot for date night!
I brought my wife here for Valentine's Day. Very good place to dine. The music was a bit loud, so it made having a conversation very hard. My esophagus was irritated after leaving because we had to yell to hear one another. The food was great. And our waiter, Troy, was one of a kind. The lady that took our photos was great. Would recommend the AKA San Diego if you don't mind loud music.

I do know that reviewing a restaurant can be quite subjective and what is great to one can be the total opposite to others. This is MY experience at this restaurant. My wife and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. Our reservation was a little early (6:00 pm) on a Sunday and the restaurant had very few patrons.
