Cru the server was great! Great energy and appropriate humor. I attended a birthday party for my friend at AKA and he was very helpful and welcoming- from right when we sat down. Food was great quality and the ambiance of the restaurant was spectacular as well.
Very amazing food ! The environment was very pretty and it was perfect for photos! The service was also amazing, Cru did an amazing job taking care of us!
The location has beautiful ambiance and is well decorated. However, the sushi was just ok at best. The fish didn't taste very fresh. Service was kind and attentive. Overall would not return.

Had the absolute best experience here - it was the perfect start to girls' night. The ambiance was stunning, the drinks were flawless, and the service was truly 10/10. Troy went above and beyond - personable, attentive & had the best recommendations. We'll absolutely be back and asking for him again. If you're looking for exceptional service, ask for Troy - you won't be disappointed.

AKA Gaslamp was an amazing experience from start to finish. The interior decor is stunning - very stylish, romantic, and thoughtfully designed, with tons of great photo ops throughout the space. Food was fantastic we had a party of 8 and service as excellent. The ambiance and the servers were fantastic. The best food and service we have had since arriving in SanDiego Friday are server who was Crull was great and entertaining

Cru gave us the best service we've ever experienced in any restaurant we've been to in California! 5/5 Food 5/5 Service 5/5 ambiance. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for the all around experience, and hopefully you get Cru as your as your server as well to give the ultimate dining experience.
