First of all I was told they would be at my home before noon. At 2:00 pm I called to see where they were. They had just made it to to another house to unload which meant they wouldn't be at my house till 4:00pm. They called at four and told us it would be another hour but they would bring another mover. When they got to my new home they just kept saying to hurry because they wanted to leave. They scratched my hardwood floors not once but 12 different spots. The movers showed up 7 hours late forcing us to start our 8 hour drive at 6:00 pm instead of noon as promised. We had to put down a $2,200 deposit to ensure they would show up to move us and then booked another move for the same time. Nobody could answer our questions regarding our move or the crew, and nobody would answer their phones making it EXTREMELY difficult. Apparently I got the B team this Sunday. There were 3 movers (lead driver & 2 young kids) and only one that maybe knew what he was doing. The lead driver was completely unprofessional, lazy, and had zero leadership skills. Examples: 1. Our introduction he mentioned that his own company is a bunch a crooks. 2. Allowed and participated in a smoke break an hour into the move. 3. At the unpack the lead driver was in the truck for over a half hour while the younger movers worked. 4. While my experience wasn't the best, the staff were friendly and moved in a quick manner. I understand moving for a living can be extremely exhausting and tough, however, when moving furniture, my father should not have to jump in and assist because the workers could not do it themselves. That is not how it should work. I appreciate you guys taking the time to move heavy furniture, but please make sure that the appropriate workers are assigned to deal with that heavy furniture.
All My Sons Moving & Storage of Indianapolis, Inc. provided moving services for me in December of 2016. During the move five drawers surrounding the perimeter of my bed were left on top of my mattress with splintered wood, chips of wood missing, and scuffs around the knobs. On both sides of the wood paneling nails are protruding through splintered wood. A large scratch remains on the side of the mirror. Also, the moving crew borrowed an Allen Wrench set. Without question the worst experience I've ever had. Items were stolen....furniture was damaged, and the guys stood in our yard for 30 minutes arguing. Keep in mind....We spent $170 per hour. Received a letter from claims today that stated they didn't feel they were responsible. Please look elsewhere, and DO NOT ever trust this company.
