Cannot commit to time they said they would come. After 4 calls to All My Sons Moving and Storage, I was again promised the refund of the deposit for the move they failed to do because they over booked. Do not use this company. 1 they are not local. You call a 402 number and you are routed to a call center somewhere else. 2 they do not deliver as promised. 3 if you have an issue you have to hound them for a refund on the deposit when they failed to show up on time.
Absolutely would NOT recommend. The morning of my moms move (an hour before they were supposed to be there). My mom explained she had just started a new job and it was the only day off. Thankfully they came and were just one hour late. But the WORST part was they quoted my mom $650 (yes we are aware they can change) but then charged her $1,600!!! I’m sorry but being off by a grand in the quote is ridiculous. She moved a 1 bed apartment worth of stuff.
The two movers who were supposed to come at nine delayed twice and arrived at 12:40. They then documented their start time as 12:30. The job was simply moving a one bedroom apartment down the hallway to a different one bedroom apartment. When I booked the job I was very clear that we were not going to box items such as hanging clothes since we were literally going down the hall. Woke on the day I need to be out of apartment to a call from All my Sons saying that can’t move today because they don’t have the people. This is after they originally told me theyd move me yesterday and pushed it back an extra day. It’s Oct 30th and they’re now saying they can’t move me until Nov 9th when I need to be out today! On top of that the deposit will take days to refund so now I have to find same day movers (HAHA yeah right) and I’m out $100!!! When I complained the manager hung up on me! Horrible. Charged $50 for a mediocre bubble wrapped job that didn’t protect my piano from getting scratched. Sent a three man crew, one of which sat around talking to her husband on the phone. Moved extremely slowly. Put scratches in my walls. Corporate will not call or email back regarding my issues. Do not use this company, at both the worker level and the corporate level they couldn’t care less and will cost you a fortune.
They are horrible, paid for a 4 man crew, only 3 showed up and one of them was stoned out of their mind. Just wandered around trying to burn the clock. They didn’t wrap our kitchen table, which we had asked them to do, there is a big scuff mark and a big dent. Paid almost 2k and all they would offer for an employee being inebriated was $350 off the price which is an absolute joke.
Worst moving experience. All they had to do was move the furniture from my garage back into my house. Epic fail… as the crew was not able to lift and move my heavy furniture. Almost dropped my antique piano. China hutch was damaged and they refused to plug it in for the light because they said they don’t touch appliances. Since when is a China hutch a appliance.
OMG … thumbs down!! Where to start. Called at 815am stating they are at 90th and will be at our location on 108th shortly. Doesn’t take 1/2 hour to get that far anyplace in omaha. Showed up mover had no idea how to park the truck it appeared. Finally situated came in. No names given and no tools in hand to disassemble furniture (offered our own tools). I don’t even know where to start with how bad this company is. We recently bought a home and I was pregnant, so my husband and I tried to be as strategic as possible with moving boxes since I couldn’t lift anything heavy and he wanted to move as much as he could to lessen the mover load and bill. We made this move SO EASY for them- took trips and trips and trips of carloads of stuff to the new house early so that all they really had to do was the furniture and some boxes and not even a lot of them.
