Katie just hung up on me after treating my fiancée and I very rudely over the phone. HUGE RIP OFF. Use another company. $1300 for a 2br house 5 minutes away. We spent HALF this amount with Alpine Moving Co last year and we came from Fort Collins with more things. We contracted for 3 movers and they gave us 2. This drastically impacted the time spent on the move and increased our cost because the move took longer and the 19% fuel charge is a percentage of the overall move. Their initial pricing is just a bait and switch. Please do not use them. They tell you initially that the charges are a minimum of two hours at 179.00. You give them the deposit and you get an email a day or two later that alludes to other charges. You get a call the day before the move and the agent goes into full detail. There is a minimum of two hours of labor at $179.00 per hour, an additional hour of travel time at $179.00, and a fuel charge of $130.00. My daughter hired this company to move her about a mile - mile and a half. She was quoted $800.00 but when it came time to pay the bill was suddenly $1525.00. And when it became apparent she was having difficulty coming up with the payment the guys suddenly had to take a break, stopped unloading. I didn't see the invoice but I do know she was charged a $200.00 "fuel " charge for the short distance they had to go. An incredible ripoff, no way to conduct business. One star is actually more than they deserve. I wish that I had read previous reviews before I booked them. Based on my experience and what I read. Their business model seems to be to OVERCHARGE for substandard service. Do not hire this company!

Expensive! Make sure they provide an on site estimate that they will honor. I paid twice what I budgeted for based on a phone estimate. Lots of hidden fees. They took forever (and will blame you for that) and I ended up paying time and a half as well. Workers were fine. But it seems like they have a strategic plan to soak you on every project somehow. You can do better.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. I looked on Angie's List to find a moving company, but I wish I had done my due diligence and read the Yelp reviews prior to booking my move. This company quoted me a price of for my move, and it ended up being 3x the price. This company is a complete bait and switch and their policies are incredibly flawed and unethical. I would NOT recommend this company EVER! I called to schedule a small move one month in advance only to get a call at 6; 00 pm, the night before I am scheduled to move and after confirming two days prior, that they don't have the right crew available to move me the next day but I do have the option to pay for a larger crew...I was only moving a bedroom worth of stuff. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! It's a complete bait and switch. When you first call you talk to somebody super pleasant on the phone, who promises that the price would only be around $3600 (for a 1600 sq ft house). Then after they've worked at $189 an hour with a three man crew for 5 hours, they suddenly tell you that they're bringing in two more guys and the cost would be $287 an hour. I was quoted at $1200 for a 2 bedroom apartment. Super inappropriate. The guy said it's probably high. They come out at whatever time they feel like. Three guys that move INSANELY slow. From 845 to 430. I said I had to go at 4 hours when they were no where near done, to deal with my babysitter. They said they were done.
