Bought a dehumidifier that failed. It was easy to get it returned and refunded except I had to contact a few repair centers first. No one would touch it and parts were unavailable. It was inconvenient to have to do the legwork but that's life I guess. Also once they approve the refund I had to box it up at my expense and return it. So I lost about $30 on a $180 purchase plus they don't refund cost of warranty, and they gave it as a home Depot credit instead of a gift card I could use anywhere. Why 5 stars? When my hot tub quit working I reached out first to the manufacturer I was told it was a couple months out of warranty. I contacted the Allstate insurance and they refunded me the price of the tub. I'm so glad I opted for the insurance.

I had a remote control stop working. I contacted Allstate insurance protection, and they were very receptive to my claim. I sent the remote in and after a few weeks, they repaired it and returned it to me. No hassle on my part.
Professional and courteous technical support was initially provided. A hardware failure was ultimately diagnosed and reimbursement provided.
We had bought a a robot vacuum some time back and my wife loved it and eventually stop keeping a charge. I filled a claim and it was very easy and got a response quickly and with no hassle got the refund. So it's well worth having it on our new cordless vacuum as well.
