I recently needed to place a claim for a 4K TV that had some backlighting fail. I was successfully able to file a claim and get a refund of the purchase price. They offered replacement TVs that allow you to keep coverage until the end of the extended warranty term, but none of them had the QLED technology that the original set had. I was able to get a payout of the original purchase price successfully on this claim and a different claim from June 2025 also.
