OUR WALMART PURCHASED LUGGAGE WAS DAMAGED ON A RECENT TRIP. FORTUNATELY WE PURCHASED THE ALSTATE EXTENDED WARRANTY. WE FILED A CLAIM ON LINE AND ALLSTATE PROVIDED THE RETURN SHIPPING LABEL SO WE ORDERED ANOTHER SET AND USED THE NEW BOX TO RETURN THE ITEM AS INSTRUCTED. NORMALLY WE DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTIES UNLESS THEY COVER ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE AND IN THIS CASE IT WORKED IN OUR FAVOR.

Consumer Cellular his a cooperative insurance plan for their cellphone customers which adds $3.00a month to their bill should a customer's cellphone be damaged. When I contacted Consumer Cellular to let them know what happened to my phone because of a fall, the representative put me in touch with Allstate to handle my claim.
