Consumer Cellular his a cooperative insurance plan for their cellphone customers which adds $3.00a month to their bill should a customer's cellphone be damaged. When I contacted Consumer Cellular to let them know what happened to my phone because of a fall, the representative put me in touch with Allstate to handle my claim. Once it was settled I received a brand new phone from Consumer Cellular with instructions and the proper cable to transfer the data from my old cellphone to the new one.
